SDLMAME is a Mac OS X port of MAME, which uses the SDL runtime library. New builds are released within a few days of MAME updates.

Has no built-in GUI -- SDLMAME must be run either via a frontend or a Terminal console.
Intel-only -- requires OS X 10.6 or later. (PPC or pre-10.6 users will have to compile MAME from source.)
