Is Windows 8 ActiveX and Internet Explorer again? 12 years, 7 months ago #2562

I was just reviewing information about Windows 8. Windows Apps will now be able to use HTML and Javascript for the front end. I can see Microsoft exploiting this like they did with ActiveX and Windows only websites. How soon before people start making websites that are really Windows Apps?
