Does anybody know which app can opened the ecm files? I saw quite a number of ISO files being compressed this way...

Google ECM GUI, I don't have a download link for you but that's what I've used in the past. I think you'll need Rosetta installed or a PowerPC Mac to use it.

Haha, I didn't mention a single pirated file! All I am asking is how to open ECM file, and this is legal.

Fair point. What I meant was that an emulation forum is a forum for questions and discussions about emulation, not about unarchiving downloaded games.

Perhaps you are right. I think anything related to emulation - how to set up on Mac, etc, are all part of the emulation discussion.

i use ecm on all my psx games i've ripped. keeps them small when I'm not using em. all the games i play are games i still have copies of even my japanese games. which keeps my originals in excellent shape.
